Every surface on a house responds differently to water and pressure. We treat them differently on purpose.
Roofs
Soft washed, never pressure washed. A low-pressure cleaning solution removes algae and moss without stripping the granules that protect the shingle.
High-pressure cleaning can void a shingle manufacturer's warranty. GAF and Owens Corning are both on record over it. That is reason enough to leave the pressure washer off the roof.
Siding and Stucco
Low pressure and the right cleaning agent do the work instead of force. It's the correct method anywhere high pressure risks driving water behind a panel or stripping a painted or textured surface.
Concrete and Hardscape
Driveways, sidewalks, and patios are built to take higher pressure, and higher pressure is what actually lifts embedded dirt and stains. The crew sets the pressure and nozzle to the surface and its condition.

Will pressure washing damage my roof or void my warranty?
It can, which is why we don't pressure wash roofs. Shingle manufacturers including GAF and Owens Corning can void a warranty over high-pressure cleaning, and high pressure can strip the granules that protect the shingle. Roofs get a soft wash: a cleaning solution at low pressure, not a pressure washer.
What is the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?
